I am in love with the "Sweet Treats" stamp set and cups from Stampin' Up! These are some of the cards we will be making at this weeks stamp class. What a great treat to get a card with candy! Dasher Christmas Set

Ok I know it's not even Halloween yet - so why am I showing you Christmas Cards? I just got the individual Dasher Stamp from Stampin'Up, only $8.95, and was able to create these four fun cards and a treat bag. Don't you love the Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip color combination? This was one of the teacher appreciation gifts I made. The teachers loved them and best of all they were super simple and fun. I found a 4 x6 lined post it pad at the dollar store and purchase a pack of RSVP pens at Walmart and made this matching notepad and pen set. I used the following papers and inks: Baja Breeze and Whisper White Card Stock, Parisian Breeze DSP, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Close to Cocoa and Baja Breeze ink. The bird is from the "Friends 24-7" stamp set. If you would like to make this set - Join us on May 22nd for our teacher gift and Father's Day Class. Happy Mother's Day!

Don't you just love this card? Not only does it make a wonderful Mother's Day card, but you can use it for birthday's, get well or even tea or bridal shower invitations!! What I love best about it is the unique way it opens and how fast you can make the card...

Did I come up with the idea? Sadly no and I've seen so many I'm not sure who the original designer is, but my hats off to them.

Sizzix Bigz Xl Matchbox - Stampin' Up! Exclusive
Instructions
This also uses the Curly Label punch. Item number 112966 on page 185.1. Cut matchbox from Kiwi Kiss textured card stock using Sizzix Big Shot die-cutting machine and Matchbox Bigz XL die. Punch top of matchbox cover using Curly Label punch. Adhere clear window sheet (1-3/4" x 2") to inside of box cover. Assemble matchbox.
2. Tie Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon around matchbox.
3. Stamp “I love you” image in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut out and punch hole through image using 1/16" Circle punch. Thread linen thread through hole and tie around ribbon on box. Secure card stock to box using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
4. Punch heart from Chocolate Chip Patterns Designer Series paper using Heart to Heart punch. Sand edges of wide heart and adhere to box cover using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

"All About Birthday's Class

Sorry about the posting delay - but not only did I have this class to get ready for, but we also had several big events going on around the house: One son celebrated his 10th birthday and had 6 boys over to spend the night and go to laser tag...another son go his braces off after three years so we had to celebrate and my oldest son had senior night...busy, busy. Not to be left out my husband ended up having sinus surgery to boot. Well enough about that and on to the class. As you can see we made 12 birthday cards - 2 of six designs, a gift card holder and a candy bar slide. The cards were great as we had a kids one, a masculine one, and 4 for anyone. All of the cards used Stampin Up punches, inks and card stock . If you missed this class I will be having another one on Wednesday, March 25th from 6 pm to 9 pm or you can order it by mail for $20.00 plus postage. I will post a couple of St. Patrick's day cards for you to view tomorrow...until then happy stamping!!!!

Coach's Card

With the basketball season coming to a close, each player was asked to bring a card for their coach to celebrate Coach's Appreciation Day. My son was concerned that I would send a "girly" looking card - Luckily I got the "Just Basketball" set from Stampin' Up! in January !!! It was just what I needed to make this card....His team colors are green and white so I incorporated the colors into the card. What do you think....??? Not only is this card great to give a coach you can also use it as a masculine or kid's birthday card!!!

Aren't this projects cute! As you can see 4 of them are candy holder valentine's which make great gifts for school children, teachers, Sunday school classes, etc... What I love about each of them is that they can be adapted to fit any holiday....So keep them in mind for the up coming holidays -- St. Patrick's Day and Easter.. Of course I'll be showcasing some more projects for these holiday's as well.

Photos Of My Booth

Well the Crop for Juvenille Diabetes is over and it was a great success - thanks to all those who came and to those that attended in other states. I thought you might enjoy seeing a photo of my booth and the thank you gifts I gave to my fellow stampers who attended. I made the baskets using the big shot and the basket die cut, the Thank You is one of the new individual stamps that are available in the new catalog, which I punched out using the scalloped square punch. Each thank you basket had a incentive stamp, Stampin'Up pen and a Stampin'Up key holder. It was a great day and we all had a lot of fun. Linda Davis was our lunch time entertainment and she sang several songs from her newest album.

Tomorrow I will post some new stamp projects.

New Projects To Share

Sorry for the delay in posting, but it has been crazy this week!! I did manage to get some projects done this week for the JDRF Crop which is on Saturday. Here are some pictures of the projects I made, yes I know they all are candy holder's, but with Valentine's Day just around the corner they seemed appropriate! I think the love box is my favorite and actually very quick to make. Although the candy bar slides make great party favors or small birthday gifts.

I also finished up my silent auction basket which is filled with Stampin'Up! goodies for the lucky lady that wins the bidding. I used the empty punch tin that's available from Stampin'Up! rather than the traditional basket - it makes a great storage container!

Well I've been busy as a bee playing with this stamp set. I have been busy this week making cards with all the new stamp sets I've received and have been preparing for the "Love You Much" Classes today. Ink : Riding Hood Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Old Olive Stampin' Write marker
Accessories : Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Edge punch , Sewing machine and thread
Instructions: Adhere Candy Lane paper to Riding Hood Red card.
Ink love image using Old Olive and Riding Hood Red ink, and stamp on Very Vanilla card stock. Punch hearts from Candy Lane paper using Heart to Heart punch, and adhere small heart to card stock using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Punch scalloped border on Old Olive card stock using Scallop Edge punch, and adhere behind Very Vanilla card stock. Sew along left edge of card stock using sewing machine and thread, and adhere to card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Welcome to my blog!! My resolution for 2009 was to open up my stamp club to the virtual community.
